St. Vincent House

Complete renovation with volume increase of a seafront dwelling in San Vincenzo (LI). The styles of Art Nouveau houses found numerous on the town's seafront were taken up, proposing a one-story elevation of the existing building and the construction of a central turret. Particular attention was paid to insulation and protection from marine agents in the choice of cladding materials, insulation, and finishing, as well as in the choice of exterior windows and doors. The systems, which were completely renovated, were made to be able to achieve high energy-efficiency performance even with the use of heat pumps and give the possibility to control the utilities remotely, using home automation in the electrical system.
