Giancarlo Manni

Architect

After graduating with a degree in architecture from Venice in 1981 with a focus on building design and composition, he began his profession by measuring himself with interior design particularly of operational environments.
This led him to work on an ongoing basis with a major company in the dental industry, thus developing in-depth knowledge and experience and becoming a leading professional in the field over the years.
At the same time, he matured a desire to spread the culture of architectural heritage recovery by measuring himself with conservative restoration work on buildings of historical, artistic and monumental value, both civil and religious.
In particular, the preservation of ecclesiastical cultural heritage, becomes a reason for in-depth study and development of numerous projects that are completed with interventions in places of worship including monumental ones through restorations, liturgical adaptations of presbytery spaces and technological adaptations.
A member of the Sacred Art Commission of the Diocese of Verona for 15 years, he is the current architect in charge of overseeing the maintenance and restoration of several important churches in Verona.
He has always paid special attention to the theme of lighting in architecture, both for civil and worship spaces, which led him to design the lighting of the Cathedral and other important historical churches in Verona and province.
For the past 25 years, he has been covering the role of real estate manager of the family business, which operates in the industrial and civil fields by developing and organizing building operations.
The fruitful collaboration with colleagues and the conviction that today it is important to combine specific skills in a synergistic form in order to provide good architecture, prompted him to establish an associated firm with them.
