Fort Tomb

The project concerns the restoration of the Austrian fort called "Fort Tomba" located near the Borgo Roma exit of the southern ring road. The project, studied with external advice from a scholar of historic military fortifications, was approved by the Verona Superintendence of Fine Arts. Given the current condition of the fort, with large areas of exposed structures, the project was conservative and didactic, allowing clear visibility of valuable military construction techniques in this "unicum." The arrangement also involved the area surrounding the monument, studying access routes, also with a view to future development in coordination with the commercial complex soon to be built in the surrounding area. The project is part of a more ambitious operation of functional recovery for which it is necessary to adopt procedures aimed at a public tender. For this, all necessary documentation has been prepared in compliance with the Public Procurement Code.
